C100 Executive Luncheon featuring Dr. Xiang Bing of CKGSB

On Thursday, August 6, Committee of 100 member Savio Tung hosted a C-100 Executive Luncheon on “The Role of China, Chinese, and Chinese Management in Future Global Business.” The event featured Dr. Xiang Bing, Dean of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) and was attended by Committee members Clarence Kwan, Henry Tang, Dazong Wang, and Shirley Young.

Dr. Xiang delivered an engaging presentation titled “China’s Transformation and Its Potential Global Implications,” which provoked many thoughtful questions from the audience.  The discussions covered topics such as Chinese government salary caps, surging Chinese investments in the US, as well as the future of philanthropy in China.

Dr. Xiang Bing is the Founding Dean and a Professor of China Business and Globalization at CKGSB, a leading business school in China with headquarters in Beijing. Established in 2002 by Li Ka Shing, CKGSB has graduated over 4,000 Chinese CEOs and Chairs, and collectively CKGSB alumni lead one-fifth of China’s most valuable brands.
