Asian American Career Ceilings: The 20 Million Project

June 14 @ 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm

The twenty-sixth Committee of 100 Asian American Career Ceilings Initiative webinar titled, “Asian American Career Ceilings: The 20 Million Project,” will be held on June 14, 2023, from 4:30 pm EST to 5 pm EST. The webinar will feature a discussion followed by a four-minute video created by one of the 2022 Committee of 100 Next Generation Project Teams, explaining the key elements of the Asian American Career Ceiling challenge.

The 20 Million Project was a community service project created by one of the teams in the Committee of 100’s Next Generation Leaders program Class of 2022, led by Dustin Ling, Allen Chen, and Marrian Zhou. Other project members include Douglas Yoon, Ben Wei, Lei Wang, John Lian. Committee of 100 member Peter Young was the team’s mentor. The video is produced in collaboration with EST Media and hosted by Stephanie Tangkilisan. The project aims to address the issue of the Asian glass ceiling, using community efforts and networks to raise awareness and inspire the AAPIs to unite and actively find solutions.

This 30-minute webinar will begin with a brief interview of the three primary project leaders to discuss how the project was initiated and executed by the team. We will then show the 4 minute video and end with Q&A and discussion from the audience.

The webinar will be held on June 14, 2023 from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm Eastern Time / 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm Central Time / 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm Pacific Time. Virtual networking will follow for 30 minutes after the chat and video. There is no fee for the webinar.
