Fireside Chat Part III: Vaccines and Reopening with Dr. David Ho

On March 15, we presented “Vaccines and Reopening with Dr. David Ho,” the third installment of a series with C100 member Dr. David Ho, a world-renowned virologist who helped develop drug therapies for AIDS patients. Richard Lui moderated the discussion

Dr. Ho works on the frontlines of the COVID crisis in his lab at Columbia University. In this fireside chat, Dr. Ho discussed vaccine distribution in the U.S., the science behind the three available vaccines, and what medical studies have found as it relates to vaccine efficacy. We also heard about the new strains of COVID, how it impact current reopening plans and how President Biden’s administration may change the policy around COVID related regulations. The discussion was followed by a Q&A and was livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

The discussion was held via Zoom webinar on March 15, 2021 at 5pm ET.
