Statement by Committee of 100 on the Mass Shooting in Half Moon Bay, California

New York, NY (January 24, 2023) — Committee of 100, a non-profit organization of prominent Chinese Americans, today released the following statement on the mass shooting that took place in Half Moon Bay, California.

“Committee of 100 is horrified and saddened by the mass shooting that took place in Half Moon Bay, a shooting that has devastated the Chinese and Latino communities,” said Zhengyu Huang, President of Committee of 100. “Our hearts are heavy with grief as we pray for both the Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay communities.”
