Committee of 100 Strongly Denounces Speculative References In The Daily Caller Article

New York, New York (March 2, 2022) The following statement was issued by Committee of 100 in response to speculative references made about Committee of 100 and its Members in a Daily Caller article.

“A recent media report was published in The Daily Caller that attempted to link Committee of 100 and its Members to the Chinese Communist Party. The statements are patently untrue and corrosive and undermines the work of our community. Additionally, references to third-party media reports in the story failed to mention that those reports had been immediately disputed by Committee of 100 last year.

Committee of 100 is a non-profit, non-partisan American organization that promotes the full participation of the nearly six million Chinese Americans in all aspects of U.S. society and advances constructive dialogue and relationships between the peoples of the United States and Greater China. All Committee of 100 members are American citizens who are proud of their contributions to the United States and of their Chinese heritage.  We will continue to promote our dual mission and reject any insinuation or effort to slander or defame our intent, members, or mission.”
