Mei-Mei Tuan is a Founder and Managing Partner of Phoenyx Partners LLC, a boutique human capital search and management assessment firm based in New York City. Mei-Mei Tuan is also a co-Founder and owner of Notch Partners LLC, a leading provider of human capital services for institutional private equity funds. Prior to founding Notch Partners, Ms. Tuan built a successful career leveraging expertise in finance and general management. As a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, she structured and arranged billions of dollars in financings for infrastructure and real estate projects both in the US and in developing countries. While obtaining her MBA, Ms. Tuan was awarded a public management fellowship to work at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in Washington DC, a US government agency that provides equity investment in developing countries.

​In the mid to late nineties, Ms. Tuan served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the Sierra Club Foundation and the San Francisco Food Bank, both major non-profit organizations based in San Francisco.

​Ms. Tuan has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Wellesley College. She currently serves on the Boards of: The Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: TBBK), where she chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee, and serves on the Executive Committee and Compensation Committee. She also currently serves as a director of three SPACs: Fintech Olympus Acquisition Corp., (NASDAQ:FTOCU), Fintech Athena Acquisition Corp., and Fintech Hera Acquisition Corp., where she chairs all three Audit Committees, Gorilla Commerce, a private equity-backed e-commerce company, The Clara Maass Medical Center and its Foundation, The New Jersey Council for the Humanities, and the Committee of 100. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Columbia Care New Jersey. In the past, she has served on the Boards of: Fintech Acquisition Corp. III (NASDAQ:FTAC), Friends of Thirteen (WNET), the Museum of Chinese in America (Co-Chair), the Wellesley College Alumnae Association, the New Jersey Women’s Forum, the Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation, and the New Jersey Network (NJN).

A native of New York City, Ms. Tuan is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and the Pre-College Division at the Juilliard School.
