C100 Leadership and Mentoring Program Luncheon with C100 Member Donald Tang in Beverly Hills, CA

On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, C100 member Donald Tang, founder and managing partner of Tang Media Partners, hosted a luncheon at Beverly Hilton Hotel with 2016 Leadership and Mentoring Program (LMP) mentees to share his advice on success. C100 member and LMP mentor Lily Lee Chen, the first Chinese-American woman to serve as mayor of a U.S. city, also attended the event.

Seven mentees of different professional backgrounds including law, entertainment, civil rights and technology, joined the luncheon and contributed to rich conversation. Donald shared his three key lessons to success: 1) self-confidence; 2) working hard; and 3) taking risks. All attendees appreciated the opportunity to hear firsthand from the successful and well-established leader and found it truly inspirational to hear his story and learn how he managed to get to where he is today. A mentee was so moved and said, “This is one of the best experiences I’ve had in this program.”
