On September 25, C-100 members Robert Gee and Cheng Li attended the official White House arrival ceremony for Chinese President Xi Jinping. At the ceremony, President Obama and the First Lady welcomed Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, to the White House. This was President Xi’s first official State Visit to the United States and followed President Obama’s State Visit to China in November 2014, making it the tenth state affair of the Obama Administration. To learn more about President Xi’s U.S. State Visit and the implications for U.S.-China relations, check out C-100’s October 7 Capitol Hill Briefing.
