On August 28, 2015, C-100 Leadership and Mentoring Program (LMP) mentors John Chiang, Stewart Kwoh, and Edmond Pi and six mentees visited the Vizio offices in Irvine, California at the invitation of C-100 member and Vizio CEO William Wang. This is the third year that LMP participants have visited Vizio, a leading consumer electronics company, through the program. During the visit, Vizio staff members gave product demonstrations of Vizio’s latest technology. Later in the afternoon, LMP mentors and mentees participated in a Q&A lunch session with Mr. Wang, in which he shared personal anecdotes and discussed his rocky journey to success.
The Committee of 100 Leadership and Mentoring program empowers young Chinese American leaders through one-on-one mentoring with C-100 members and site visits to members’ businesses, such as Vizio.
