C100 Member Shirley Young Hosts Holiday Dinner to Honor Ambassador Zhang Qiyue

On December 15, 2015, Committee of 100 co-founder and governor Shirley Young hosted Ambassador Zhang Qiyue, Consul General of China in New York, and other C-100 members for a holiday dinner in her New York residence.

During the dinner, guests discussed C-100’s activities for the coming year, including an upcoming Chinese New Year festival planned for New York City, C-100’s Global Philanthropy collaboration with the U.N., C-100 activities planned on Capitol Hill and the 2016 Annual Conference in Los Angeles. Ambassador Zhang shared her experiences covering the first year she served as Consul General, including visits to New York City public schools and ongoing engagements with community and government leaders in the United States. Members who participated in the dinner include C-100 co-founders and governors Henry Tang, Oscar Tang and Shirley Young, as well as other C-100 members David Chang, Guoqing Chen, Howard Li, and Jeremy Wu.
