Visit to the China-United States Exchange Foundation
Tung Chee-hwa, Hong Kong’s first Chief Executive, founded the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) in 2008 to strengthen US-China ties, a cause at the heart of C100’s mission. One of the most respected conveners in the US-China space, CUSEF has drawn names like Max Baucus and Charlene Barshefsky to frank Track 2 dialogues among officials, scholars, and business leaders when government channels are strained. President James Chau, a veteran television anchor and World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador since 2016, hosts C100 at CUSEF’s offices to share how the foundation sustains these conversations today.
