Yvonne Pei was named Senior Vice President of External Relations, The Walt Disney Company in 2010. Ms Pei is responsible for the Company’s strategic relationships across Greater China with key policy makers and government officials in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan and all relevant municipalities as well as the delivery of targeted advocacy in support of business goals.
Ms. Pei also takes the responsibility for providing local leadership for the effective coordination and execution of corporate communications, corporate responsibility and corporate outreach programs, developed in concert with Corporate Communications, Segment Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility.
Prior to joining TWDC, Ms Pei led Government Affairs and Public Policy at Dell Asia Pacific & Japan in 2006. She strategically raised Dell’s profile and visibility and significantly forwarded Dell’s commercial interests in China.
Ms. Pei also worked 14 years as Director of External Relations at Procter & Gamble before joining Dell. She created the External Relations team in Greater China and led the team developed and executed public policy strategies and government relationship building activities for the company.
Her professional activities include present Board Directorship on the National Committee of US-China Relations, and past Board of Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce South China, and US Information Technology Organization (USITO).
Yvonne graduated from the University of Civil Aviation Administration of China and has Master of Arts degree from Government Department, College of William and Mary, and Graduate School of International Studies, University of Denver.
She was appointed by the Walt Disney Company as a Board of Director of Shanghai Disney Park & Resort joint venture in 2010. She was also appointed by the Company as a Board of Director of Hong Kong International Theme Parks Limited and Hong Kong Disneyland Management Limited in 2024.
