ROUNDTABLE I: STRATEGIC TRUST PRIORITY
Building Strategic Trust in U.S.-China Relations
With increasingly complex challenges in U.S.-China relations, Washington and Beijing understand the importance of finding common ground to mitigate the risk of potential confrontation over strategic interests. The U.S. pivot towards Asia, China’s rapid military expansion, and key flashpoints from the Korean peninsula to the East and South China Seas underscore the necessity of building strategic trust in U.S.-China relations. Speakers with seasoned political and security expertise provide insights on the future of the bilateral relations with an assessment of the U.S. foreign policy in the Asia Pacific region.
