Herman Y. Li is Chairman of the C&L Restaurant Group, a franchisee of Burger King and Denny’s Corporations, which owns and operates franchises in multiple states. He was a founding member of the Burger King Corporation’s Diversity Action Council, and founding board member of the Restaurant Service Inc. – a Burger King system supply chain co-op. He is also involved in multiple leadership positions in Burger King regional and national Franchisee Associations.
He currently serves on the Board of East West Bancorp (EWBC), as the Chairman of the Governance Committee. East West Bank is the largest bank in the United States that focuses on the Chinese American community.
Herman is a current member and former Chairman of the Committee of 100, which is a national non-partisan organization composed of American citizens of Chinese descent. Each member has achieved positions of leadership in the United States in a broad range of professions.
